Montigny sur Loing

Montigny is a charming village with the river Loing running along it. Its beauty inspires professional and amateur painters.

Closed to Fontainebleau (11km through the forest), Montigny has everything on site : bakery, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket, garage, …Montigny has also a train station to reach Paris (40’). Montigny is just in the border of Fontainebleau forest offering a lot of activities.

 
Moret Sur Loing

Moret is a medieval city. It is a charming fortified town with the river Loing running along it. Alfred Sisley painted over half of his canvases here, inspired by the beauty of the landscapes.

The town is guarded by two gates and a dungeon (from the 12th century). Notre-Dame Church (12th and 16th century), façade François 1st. Old streets and houses are from the Renaissance. 10 km drive from Fontainebleau, Moret has also a train station (40’ to Paris)

 
Cely

Cély is a small and typical village where you will find tranquility and verdure and a very nice golf course near its castle.

It is also very well located : very closed to Fontainebleau (12km = 15’ drive from Insead Campus through the forest), closed to motorway entrance to Paris (45km or 40’ drive without traffic), to the biggest European Carrefour hypermarket (3km) where you will find whatever you need and want and near Barbizon, the cradle of the pre-impressionist painters of the 19th century.
